Job Description
As a Driver in the hotel supply industry, you will be a crucial link in ensuring that high-quality hospitality products reach their destination safely and on time. Your responsibilities include managing timely deliveries to hotels, maintaining a professional appearance, and upholding strict safety and compliance standards. You will handle and transport a variety of hotel supplies and equipment, ensuring that items are secure and delivered in pristine condition. A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and familiarity with local routes are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with hotel management and our logistics team. Your commitment to reliability and excellence will contribute significantly to our reputation as a trusted provider of premium hotel supplies
Responsibilities
- Safely transport hotel supplies to clients, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitality businesses.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and delivery of items.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is in good working condition.
- Follow UAE traffic laws and company safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in verifying and cross-checking delivery invoices with customers.
- Communicate with the sales and warehouse team regarding delivery schedules.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or repairs needed.
- Handle cash or payment collection if required and submit to the accounts department.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience in UAE, preferably in hotel supply or logistics.
- Valid UAE driving license (Light & Heavy Vehicle)
- Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads when required.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery management apps.
- Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or Hindi is an advantage.
